Simple, straightforward and honest. That's what three friends wanted to create when they opened up this new bar on the corner of Broughton Street and London Street. And they did it! With a laid back atmosphere, friendly staff and a delicious menu. The Ox offers good honest cooking, with a range of interesting home-made dishes. It's restaurant-quality food, but in a relaxed pub setting. And, on top of all of this, The Ox is also child friendly (licence until 9 pm) and dog friendly. So really, what's not to love?!
Those are our top three best pubs on Broughton Street, but there are lots more to discover. If you like traditional pubs, there's The Cask and Barrel. Or, if you're looking for a pre-club vibe, try Treacle Bar and Kitchen.
