There's a lot happening on Broughton Street in Edinburgh, a popular street to the north of the city centre.
Packed with independent speciality shops, brilliant bars, cosy restaurants and more, Broughton Street has so much to offer both locals and visitors. So, if you're staying in one of our apartments near Broughton Street, here's how we'd spend our perfect day in this fun and vibrant part of Edinburgh.
Start off with possibly the best brunch in town at the Broughton Deli, which is just off Broughton Street, about half-way down on Barony Street.
Then, a bit of pampering at Essential Therapy, where you can indulge with a beauty treatment or relaxing massage.
If you're looking for a drink to enjoy in your holiday apartment later on, you might want to pay Villeneuve Wines a visit. They are always happy to impart some of their expert knowledge on fine whiskies and wines.
Hungry again? The Olive Branch has a wonderful corner spot with cosy seats in the windows, and a delicious dinner menu.
Or perhaps you're ready for a bar atmosphere, in which case you're spoilt for choice! But we'd always head to The Basement Bar. With incredible, imaginative cocktails and fantastic rustic Mexican menu. The ambience inside is perfect for escaping for several hours.
Finally, if you're still out and about into the wee small hours and ready for a final snack, head to Cafe Piccante. The chipper that thinks it's a disco!

"What an amazing property. The rooms, décor, equipment, furnishings, etc were all high end and luxurious. Brilliant central location. We would highly recommend a stay here. Only problem is you might not want to leave."
"Lorna was excellent at keeping in touch and very accommodating. The property is beautifully decorated and very well appointed throughout. Great location, close to Princes Street, buses and tram stop. The Castle, Royal Mile are all in walking distance."
"An exceptional place! Next to the high street and close to the public transport facilities. The place is sparkling clean and very well maintained. It is spacious and cozy. Lorna is extremely helpful and quick on her responses. 10/10 will stay at this place when I go back to Edinburgh."
"A very special property with many special touches to make you truly feel at home. A fantastic location to explore all the delights of Edinburgh"
