Cookie of Resilience

We can’t afford to wait and see which way the cookie will crumble.

Across the country, and in the media there is talk of potential food shortages due to current geopolitics and climate impacts.

One thing is for sure, if we want to secure food resilience it’s going to take farmers and citizens collaborating and co-organising. While institutions take their time (as they do), we believe the groundwork can, and should, go on!

So we’re starting with something simple, practical, and surprisingly powerful:
an oat biscuit with a purpose.

Why This Matters
This isn’t just about cookies. It’s about bringing people closer together; farmers, neighbours, local organisations, to build a stronger, more connected regional food system. The kind that can actually withstand shocks, nourish people, and reward farmers!

Each pack sold helps us organise local gatherings where these conversations turn into real collaboration.

And yes, there will likely be biscuits there, too :).

What You Get
For £17.50 you’ll receive:

  • A pack of 10 handcrafted oat cookies

  • Baked by the excellent folks at Sussex Kitchen

  • A small, but meaningful contribution to building local food resilience

  • An invitation to our food security gatherings

Call it a cookie with an invitation for civic ambition.

How It Works

  • Pre-order your pack now;

  • Once we hit 1,000 cookies (100 sold packs), we start the first production run;

  • Your cookies are baked, packed and delivered to your door.

No overproduction. No waste. Just cookies with a clear plan.
